Bill Dolnick, Al Klinger, Michael Presser and Jerry Rudnick started their tour in Vancouver, BC. They headed north along the Sunshine Coast to Powell River. From Powell River they crossed by ferry to Vancouver Island and bicycled and ferried their way to Victoria. Michael and Bill headed back to Chicago while Jerry and Al crossed to Anacordes, Washington. Al returned home at this point and Jerry continued around the Olympic Peninsula and met his cousin Josh Tenenberg in Westport, Washington. They continued south along the coast to Florence, Oregon and then inland to Eugene.

Josh

We met Utopia at Nehalem Bay State Park campground. He had biked up from California.

We ate lunch at this store on our ride from the coast to Eugene. As we headed inland the temperatures rose into the upper 90's.
